A.M on Carmelo Anthony retiring: “My legacy, now and forever, lives on through you.”

CARMELO:

I remember the days I had nothing. Just a ball on the court and a dream of something more.

Basketball was my outlet… Purpose...

Goodbye to the court where I made my name, the court that gave me pride.

Carmelo Anthony retires from basketball and it hit me deeply.

Fans, cities along the way… They made me Carmelo Anthony.

And I was most certainly a fan of Melo.

I am not on Facebook or Instagram anymore.

I’m not even a Knicks fan anymore. Ever since Temple, I have become a Philly sports fan.

But on January 24, 2014, I was a high school senior from Central New Jersey who was a Knicks fan, witnessing history.

I'm the king of New York, Melo”

Cannot wait to see what Melo does next!
